DESCRIPTION: Supervisor Position has the overall responsibility for a daily shift and will ensure that all functions are performed.
DUTIES: (The position may not include all the duties listed, nor do the examples cover all the duties which may be performed.)
-Direct, oversee and coordinate shifts
-Act on behalf of the Operations Manager in his absence with clients and potential clients.
-Responsible to assist Operations Manager and General Manager in daily staffing and development of manpower schedules.
-Address station attendance and performance deficiencies and administer corrective measures in accordance with Human Resources policies.
-Review shift reports, analyze and review operational activity.
-Perform briefings and ensure they are communicated effectively and efficiently with staff.
-Ensure proper coverage for client accounts and monitor post start and end times.
-Liaise between airlines and local staff to ensure that all safety, security and customer service guidelines are being consistently met.
-Responsible for the safeguarding of all company equipment and vehicles.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-3 years of supervisory/managerial experience preferred REQUIRED
-2 years or more experience working in the Aviation industry Preferred
-High School Diploma/GED minimum education requirement
-Must be willing to Security License if not already in possession.
-Must be able to pass a 10 year verifiable background check, including criminal, employment, education, and personal references;
-Must possess valid State-Issued Driver’s License and have a clean driving history;
-Must be able to pass a Security Threat Assessment as administered by the Transportation Security Administration;
-Must be able to pass a Security Background Check as administered by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol & Port Authority;
-Must be able to pass all initial training classes and exams;
-Knowledge of computer programs: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
-Ability to express oneself clearly, concisely both orally and in writing.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment without getting distracted.
-Ability to work shifts, weekends
-Ability to multi-task effectively.
