Salary Range$53,435.00 to $69,460.00 / Per Year
Duties
In this position, you will implement security policies and asses the security posture of FEMA. You will provide technical advice and assistance regarding the establishment of personnel security programs and will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and protection of highly sensitive information and programs. Typical assignments include:
Making eligibility/fitness/suitability recommendations on individuals for entry and retention in Public Trust positions
Identifying adverse information in the determination of eligibility for employment with the agency
Assisting in handling data requests under provisions of Privacy and Freedom of Information Acts
Requesting investigation files from external agencies
Writing comprehensive adjudicative report findings
Requesting documentation, either formally by letter or computer-generated message, in an attempt to mitigate issues
Travel Required
Occasional Travel
Occasional non-emergency travel may be required
Key Requirements
