Description

The O’Gara Group Training and Services Division is currently seeking qualified applicants to serve as tactical training instructors at our facilities in Montross, VA and Alton, VA. We are also recruiting for a Mobile Training Team (MTT) that deploys OCONUS. Instructors will plan, manage, teach, and assess formal courses of instruction. Preferred candidates are certified and qualified former military security experts, SOF (SF, SEAL, FORCE RECON), and Law Enforcement and Agency personnel. Please note that these are not entry-level positions – the applicant must be able to validate previous instructor experience in the form of certifications, official documentation, and verifiable employment experience.

Firearms Instructor

General Requirements:

* Possess or ability to obtain a DoD/DoS security Clearance
* Possess a valid driver's license
* Minimum of one year instructor experience
* Be available to deploy to training locations on short notice
* OCONUS positions require a valid US Passport
* Five years of related operational or tactical experience such as law enforcement, military, EMT, etc.

This experience and background may have been gained in any of the following organizations:

* U.S. Department of State Diplomatic Security Service
* U.S. Secret Service
* U.S. Federal Agencies, e.g. FBI (Former special agents with protective security background)
* U.S. Special Operations Forces
* U.S. Military
* Commercial executive protection services
* Law enforcement experience
* U.S. Military Police/Criminal Investigation Division
* Local and state law enforcement agencies with Emergency Services Unit, Special Weapons and Tactics Training
* Experience may be gained in the employ of any national, State, Local, or commercial entities providing high threat protective services

Applicants must have verifiable experience with the following:

* Glock 19 Pistol
* M4 Carbine
* M240B Medium Machine Gun
* M249 SAW
* M203 Grenade Launcher
* AK-47
* Pump Shotgun
* DS Deadly Force Policy
