Corporate Security Manager

Employer: Google 
Location: Chicago, Illinois

Responsibilities
Develop and implement corporate security standards, policies and practices to make continual improvements and increase the effectiveness of the security program
Oversee management of security vendors providing guard force staffing, Conduct awareness training, risk assessments, and monitor local and regional issues that may affect Google business operations
Lead incident/crisis response
Deliver training on security topics, assist in the coordination of security services to support planned and unplanned operations, and support events and special activities
Offer guidance and consultation to Facility and Operations Management

Minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years experience managing security operations in a fast paced corporate environment
.
Preferred qualifications
Experience working around active construction sites and providing countermeasures to minimize loss
Experience with standard software applications for communications, productivity and presentation
Experience conducting investigations including criminal, human resources, and safety incidents
Deep knowledge and experience with security technologies including CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems, Security Operations Centers
Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
