Summary Description
The Director of Digital Forensic Investigations is responsible for a wide variety of duties in the Security Department, including but not limited to: conducting or coordinating, supervising and managing detailed and complex investigations involving alleged impropriety or criminal conduct by League and Club personnel, conducting or coordinating, supervising and managing detailed and complex investigations of alleged impropriety or criminal conduct in which League or Club personnel are victims, background investigations for League and select Club personnel, liaison and support for other League and Club departments such as Compliance, Internal Audit and Legal. This role will have an emphasis on properly investigating and handling evidence related to social media, computers, telephones and mobile devices.

Job Function:
•Conducts data recovery operations in order to extract artifacts of evidentiary value, to include both hardware and software based data restoration and the decryption of protected files.
•Recovers and examines data from computers and other electronic storage devices in support of internal investigations, potential criminal matters and e-discovery efforts.
•Examines data from computers and other electronic storage devices in support of internal investigations, potential criminal matters and e-discovery efforts.
•Provides detailed reporting, in verbal and written formats, in order to support investigators and key decision makers.
•Serves as subject matter expert relative to digital forensic investigation, providing consultation to management when necessary.
•Coordinate, supervise and manage detailed and complex investigations involving alleged impropriety or criminal conduct by League and Club personnel
•Conduct detailed and complex investigations of alleged impropriety or criminal conduct in which League or Club personnel are victims
•Coordinate, supervise and manage detailed and complex investigations of alleged impropriety or criminal conduct in which League or Club personnel are victims
•Assign and manage investigative tasks performed by security representatives; review and approve detailed investigative reports
•Conduct detailed due diligence background investigations on behalf of League and select Club personnel
•Conduct detailed pre-employment background investigations related to Social Media for League and select Club personnel
•Liaise with other League and Club departments such as Compliance, Human Resources, Internal Audit and Legal on sensitive issues, or other matters of importance
•Develop and conduct security briefs for League and Club personnel traveling abroad
•Other department administration, as assigned by Chief Security Officer


Special Skills/Abilities

•Demonstrated expertise in conducting complex and varied criminal investigations to include, but not limited to financial crimes, crimes of violence, gambling offenses, weapons offenses and drug and alcohol-related offenses
•Expertise in both civil and criminal judicial processes, to include rules of evidence, prosecutorial determinations, court proceedings and civil lawsuits
•Strong background in intelligence gathering, to include familiarity and use of online resources, subscription services and public record checks
•Proven track record as a strong communicator – written and oral presentations, capable of rapidly creating detailed, yet concise written reports
•Extensive network of law enforcement contacts at the local, state and federal level
•Familiarity with current social media and its usage
•Proficiency in the use of investigative databases
•Expertise in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•Must be able to deal effectively with different types of people, at all levels of internal and external organizations
•Strong analytical skills
•Exceptional organizational skills

Physical Demands:
•Role requires long periods of standing, climbing stairs and walking in connection with NFL game and stadium operations, as well as on-scene investigations
