Job Summary: Several of our experts will develop and conduct a Battle Staff Training Program for brigade- and battalion-level elements. They will create increasingly complex scenarios, provide instruction on decision-focused actions, and mentor participating client personnel. While doing
so, these experts will incorporate lessons learned from contemporary combat operations and applicable military doctrine from the UAE, U.S., and other nations.

Candidates must posses expert level knowledge of all aspects of tactical ground maneuver sustainment gained from successful experience in staff and leadership positions. These experts must be proficient in sustainment focused military decision-making processes and related staff and command functions. They must be familiar with contemporary and emerging security threats, to include irregular forces and hybrid organizations. They must also be accomplished trainers.

Essential Functions: Work as part of a multi-faceted effort that is enhancing a major, UAE military command. Collaborate with teammates and client personnel to develop and conduct training scenarios that stress combined arms maneuver and joint, combined, interagency operations. Build understanding of sustainment for support of air/ground task force operations and coalition warfare. Advise and assist client personnel in doctrine-based processes and techniques that promote successful command decisions in complex, dynamic environments. Increase client abilities to assess situations, integrate available assets, and design operational concepts that are aligned with mission command principles. Conduct after-action reviews to identify lessons learned and evaluate proficiency levels. Provide technical assistance and mentorship to the client’s subordinate units; interact with TechWise Global teammates to ensure consistency of themes, terms, and concepts across the entire project. Work closely with Arabic language translators to convert English narrative and graphics into understandable Arabic. Build trust-based relationships with the client’s Training Directorate and subordinate units to recognize and address client requirements. Integrate client recommendations into the training program, to increase client acceptance and shared understanding. In conjunction with the Project Manager, develop and update an execution plan that describes tasks, schedules, performance standards, and deliverable products. Conduct additional training with select client personnel, to create training cadre and foster long-term operational effectiveness. Perform additional duties as required to support client requirements.

Required Qualifications:
•Former U.S officer who retired as a lieutenant colonel, Major or service equivalent rank
•Served as the Operations or Executive Officer of a sustainment brigade-level formation
•Served as a primary sustainment staff planner at a Division or higher level
•Fifteen-plus years of experience training and directing the execution of military decision-making processes and related staff functions
•Graduate of a Command and General Staff College or service equivalent, intermediate-level education program
•Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
•Detailed understanding of and first-hand expertise with the following topics:
•Combined arms maneuver, sustainment operations and wide area security operations in a joint, combined, interagency environment;
•System-based operational assessment and planning methodologies, to include design;
•Staff products and functions that underlie successful execution of mission command;
•Missions and functions of Joint Operations Centers;
•Joint, Combined, Interagency Task Force structures and operations;
•U.S. and other friendly government military doctrine that pertains to planning and directing contemporary military operations;
•Coalition building and related information exchange; and
•Operations products and processes that support planning, executing, preparing for, and assessing joint, combined, interagency operations
•Proven abilities to lead and achieve superior results while operating in diverse, rapidly changing operational settings
•Exceptional oral and written communications skills
•Possess active U.S. Secret or higher security clearance (or its equivalent)
•Possess a valid U.S. Passport or country of origin Passport

Strongly Desired Qualifications and Professional Experiences:
•Served as a Brigade Support Battalion Commander or Sustainment Brigade Commander
•Served as the Director of Logistics Plans or Operations at a Division, Marine Expeditionary Force, or similar command
•Worked with foreign military forces in an advisory and/or training assistance role
•Master’s degree in military science, national security studies, or a related field
•Taught military decision making at a professional, military education institution
•Served as an instructor or primary cadre member at a combat-arms training center
