Helicopter Door Gunner / Crew Chief

Job SummaryServices, troubleshoots, and inspects aircraft structure, systems, components and related systems. As required, serves as helicopter door gunner. Actively support and uphold the Company’s stated mission and values.

Essential Functions:
  • Coordinates maintenance plans and schedules to meet operational commitments
  • Supervises and assists in launching and recovering aircraft
  • Ensures aircraft are maintained to flight safety standards
  • Ensures aircraft records are maintained, recording all incidents noted in pre-flight inspection and during flight
Job Requirements:
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must possess and maintain a valid US Passport
  • Must have a valid US driver’s license
  • In the event of US Military service, any separation must have been under honorable conditions
  • Must pass thorough pre-employment suitability screening which includes background checks, medical screening exam, psychiatric evaluation, drug screening and physical fitness assessment
  • Must possess a current airframe and power license with turbine aircraft experience.
  • Must possess a minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a US military crew chief and/or aerial door gunner and have experience with aircraft mounted crew-served weapons systems
  • Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience performing or supervising functions such as installing, inspecting, repairing, or overhauling aircraft structure, systems, and components
  • Attend and successfully complete the PSS training course
  • Qualify with the Glock-19, M4, M203, M240, M249, and Remington 870 shotgun, re-qualifying as required by the task order
  • Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance/public trust certification
  • Complete the WPS Physical Readiness Test at the 50% performance level, and maintain that fitness level for the duration of his/her service on the task order.
  • Possess no impediments to traveling overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy in general, or to the country or countries assigned in the applicable task order in specific
