Job Description
Linxx Global Solutions, a fast growing Government contracting company, with corporate offices located in Virginia Beach, VA, is currently looking for an experienced Supervisor/Trainer/Investigator to fill a full-time position at NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center near Edwards AFB, California.


Responsibilities
Supervisor
Manage the work associated with the protective services required herein to assure fully adequate and timely completion of these services including: planning, scheduling, report preparation, establishing and maintaining records, and quality control;
Provide continuous assessment and evaluation to identify protective services weaknesses and vulnerabilities and initiate corrective action;
Remain cognizant of current protective services issues, trends, laws, regulations, and technologies;
Develop and distribute contingency and operational security plans;
Develop SOPs/EACs and support contingency operation exercises;
Conduct monthly inspections of the physical, mechanical, electronic systems that control perimeter access to the Center and common areas;
Evaluate and recommend installation protection needs and requirements based on Force Protection Conditions or local threat changes;
Coordinate and conduct unannounced intrusion detection alarm officer response tests for all alarmed MEIs, SAPFs, and SCIFs every six months;
Conduct monthly alarm inspections/checks on all intrusion and duress alarms and record said in the daily log/morning report;
Provide effective supervision of employees. Supervisory personnel shall be available to receive and implement orders;
Ensure each employee is familiar with their post, duties, and responsibilities to effectively perform;
Ensure that security officers respond to requests for assistance, emergencies, or alarms in accordance with CPS approved procedures and response times;
Conduct a minimum of one unannounced supervisory inspection of all posts and patrols. Inspect items to include uniforms, weapons, radios, and other equipment and verification of the officers’ knowledge of post instructions, procedures, and pass-downs.

Trainer

Schedule and/ or conduct SOFCC basic (80 hours) and refresher training (24 hours). Deliver training classes on other security topics as necessary to include defensive tactics and specialized equipment. Provide instruction for SAs, SPOs, and SOs on firearms and use-of-force (8 hours) prior to semi-annual weapons qualification;
Provide SAs, SPOs, and SOs training for less-than-lethal weapons, judgmental shooting, night firing, force-on-force scenarios, and active shooter response (16 hours);
Ensure all SO/SPO complete annual ethics and IT security training, the Desert Tortoise Safety Course, and other NASA/AFRC mandatory training;
Maintain records of student performance and instructor certifications;
Maintain training records.

Investigator
Investigate incidents and offenses and safeguard disaster and crime scenes;
Conduct administrative, security, and criminal inquiries.

Required Skills
Education and/or Experience
Required – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
Must have a minimum of 2 years of supervisor/management experience of 10 personnel or more;
Must have a minimum of 2 years training/instructor experience;
Must have a minimum of 4 years security experience;
Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance;
Preferred - Law enforcement experience;
Must have professional appearance.
