Shoulder 2 Shoulder Inc, is actively seeking Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD)/ Diving Subject Matter Expert (SME) - (EOD/DIVING SME) to support Humanitarian Assistance, Disaster Relief and Mine Action (HDM) Program under which support is provided foreign governments, international organizations, and non-governmental organizations.

This position will be based in Ft. Lee, Virginia with some travel required overseas.

Overview
EOD/Diving

SME trainers and technical advisors shall be competent in Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) of land-based and underwater unexploded explosive ordnance disposal competencies including detection, identification, on-site evaluation, rendering safe, recovery, and final disposal of unexploded explosive ordnance which may include: the rendering safe and/or disposal of explosive ordnance that has become hazardous by damage or deterioration when the disposal of such explosive ordnance requires techniques, procedures, or equipment that exceed the normal requirements for routine disposal. ERW include land based and underwater land mines, unexploded ordnance (UXO) (mortar rounds, artillery shells, bomblets, rockets, submunitions, rocket motors and fuel, grenades, small-arms ammunition, etc.), and abandoned ammunition storage and cache sites.

The EOD Diving SME will perform the following: education, certifications, and experience pertinent to the subject matter.

Basic Qualification:
Master EOD Technician qualified and graduate of NAVSCOLEOD
Extensive experience developing U.S. Joint Service EOD curriculum
Extensive experience in military/HMA operations overseas
Navy First Class/Master Diver/Diving Officer and graduate of Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center
Extensive experience in Underwater HMA and/or Underwater Mine Counter Measures
Extensive experience in military operations overseas
Possess the ability to provide the DoD HMA program with sustainable CONUS and partner nation in-country subject matter expert (SME)
