Position Summary
Coordinates and monitors highly sensitive aspects of the DOD, Intelligence Community, or other industrial security program and other security activities, ensuring compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Protects classified government information and publishes security awareness for all cleared corporate personnel. Acts as primary liaison with upper management and outside agencies.
Responsibilities
Primary duties include the management and supervision of the security staff members, program inspections, audits and investigations.
Protects classified government information and monitors security procedures, ensuring compliance with all aspects of the program including personnel, physical and administrative security systems and procedures.
Maintains security clearance records and processes security clearance documents for personnel requiring access under multiple government contracts and subcontracts.
Conducts security briefings and develops and conducts security education programs for all cleared personnel.
Investigates or oversees the investigation of losses and security violations and recommends corrective action.
Develops and implements security procedures and coordinates revisions and updates as necessary.
Provides advice and guidance to less experienced staff.
Required Qualifications
This position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent and ten to twelve year's security-related experience.
Must have current final Top Secret/SCI eligibility.
Must have Contractor Special Security Officer and Facility Security Officer Certifications.
Must have strong customer service and service delivery orientation.
Must have previous industrial security experience and an in-depth knowledge of the NISPOM, ICDs, and other Government security directives
Must have experience in the U.S. Government, DoD, Intelligence, or contractor community in security management.
Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally with all levels of staff and outside personnel.
Must possess practical knowledge of and experience with JPAS, e-QIP, SIMS (or equivalent system) and ISFD.
Must have knowledge of Industrial Security Program, with emphasis on Personnel Security as it applies to Industry.
Must have in-depth knowledge of security clearance processing, as it applies to DOD and the Intelligence Community.
Must have the ability to work in a team with excellent organizational skills
Must have experience in leading and managing security teams
Hands on working experience with SCIF day-to-day operations and construction build out.
Experiences With Writing Proposals And Security Volumes - Preferred.
COMSEC account custodian experience- Preferred.
Graduate of an NSA SCI Control Officers Course- Preferred.
Experiences with Army ACAVS administration.
