ExLog is looking for a highly skilled law enforcement professional to work regionally as a law enforcement liaison. This will be a part time (1440 hours per year) position. The ideal candidate will have extensive law enforcement experience at least one of the locations listed below and will have excellent networking skills. The successful candidate will be highly professional and passionate about working for ExLog Global.
Requirements
15 years law enforcement service
Specific assignments to traffic safety
Public education experience
Supervision and management experience is a plus
Detail oriented with excellent report writing and data collection, reporting skills
Superior networking skills
Regional travel is required
Public speaking skills and experience as a PIO is desired
Must have worked at the command level in a state or local law enforcement agency.
Command level work experience must be no older than three years at the time of this proposal.
Experience with administrative components of a contract, such as maintaining milestone and deliverable schedules, keeping within budget constraints and funding categories, invoicing, and ensuring good customer service.
Experience working with law enforcement agencies, including working with senior command officers and patrol officers.
Experience working in traffic safety areas, especially with occupant protection, alcohol-impaired driving, and drug-impaired driving; and also with speeding, motorcycle safety, pedestrian safety, older drivers, young and novice drivers, distracted driving, fatigued driving, bicyclist safety, and school bus safety.
Experience working with law enforcement associations at the national, State, and local-levels.
Experience working with traffic safety organizations, such as State highway safety offices and advocacy groups.
Experience with teaching varied audiences varied topics (for example, teaching law enforcement officers how to implement a low-staff checkpoint, instructing non-analysts how to examine their crash data).
Experience reviewing and presenting data, including law enforcement data (e.g., citation data) and traffic safety data (e.g., crash and fatality data), and experience computing averages, and discerning trends and anomalies. This includes experience compiling data from various sources and presenting it in a cohesive and meaningful way.
Experience in organizing events, such a press event for a new law enforcement initiative, or a training workshop.
Experience with software programs, such as Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Experience writing narrative reports, for example summaries of project activities.
Pay will be commensurate with experience
