Job Summary
The Security Supervisor supervises and controls administration of the security program at a forward operating site for assigned program. Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure working environment for the company and joint ventures.
Principal Accountabilities
(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.)
Implements and monitors security procedures in accordance with military rules and regulations, the National Industrial Security Operating manual (NISPOM), company policies, procedures and government directives.
Monitors the contract performance of the badging & screening cell and provides guidance as required.
Interfaces with appropriate government and military representatives on force protection, OPSEC, physical security, and other security disciplines.
Reviews and investigates non-compliance security issues; ensures all DynCorp personnel comply with force protection requirements.
Investigates and eliminates unsafe or unethical security practices.
Implements policies and strategies for security, including but not limited to internal investigations, personnel management and Operational Security (OPSEC).
Coordinates ongoing review of existing security programs; provides input to area security management for recommended changes.
Conducts physical audits of site based on developed standards, and provides recommendations based on findings.
Provides written documentation upon completion of reviews.
Provides consulting support and makes recommendations to site management regarding appropriate timely and necessary improvements or in implementing contractual requirements.
Deploys to site in order to manage security phase-in on newly awarded contracts.
Meets with security counterparts and addresses security concerns in implementing contractual requirements.
Perform other qualified duties as assigned
Knowledge & Skills
Advanced knowledge of security rules and regulations required by customer.
Knowledge of Electronic person Security Questionnaire (EPSQ) and Distributes INFOSEC Accounting System (DIAS).
Excellent communication, effective leadership and interpersonal skills with professional image and demeanor.
Knowledge of various computer software systems ( PeopleSoft, Microsoft Office).
Additional knowledge/skills may be required by contract and will be listed separately.
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline preferred.
Eight (8) years’ progressively responsible experience working in security environment.
Prefer at least three (3) years in a supervisory role.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment
Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.
Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
