The focus of the Security Manager, North America position is on achieving accurate and timely results that support established organizational standards. Drive, determination, and taking responsibility for assuring Arrow Value Recovery (AVR) policies and procedures are correctly followed are necessary qualities for successful job performance. This role is focused on achieving the highest level of safety and security while enabling AVR business by mitigating risks to our people, facilities and business operations. This position provides leadership and guidance to site security teams to achieve results through people that ensures AVR's customers' product and data is handled in a safe and secure manner at all times.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
- Manages the security of the workforce, workplace and the protection of assets to include information and products within AVR's North American facilities.
- Leads, develops and evaluates a team of Site Security Administrators.
- Oversees the design and delivery of risk-based security programs by analyzing vulnerabilities and implementing solutions. Provides research analysis and assessment of newly developed or expanded programs with recommendations to management concerning liability issues.
- Directs investigations of unethical conduct, fraud or crimes against company and cooperates with outside law enforcement agencies on criminal manners. Provides supervisory and employee training in security and loss prevention.
- Conducts workplace security, vulnerability and criticality assessments for all company locations, and manages cost effective security and risk mitigation programs, providing protection of high profile personnel, high risk operations, and to protect the product supply chain and critical business information.
- In cooperation with Sales, develops Security programs in support of the value recovery sales offerings
- In cooperation with the Transportation Operations group, develops, administers, and supports Transportation Security programs in compliance with organizational and industry identified best practices.
- Develop and implement an effective manned security program as required; interview 3rd party companies for necessary security support.
- Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, managing, and maintaining security programs in a multi-site environment.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting corporate investigations of unethical conduct, fraud and other crimes against the company.
- Well versed in the areas of Safety, Loss Prevention, Risk Management, Federal and State Compliance and OSHA Regulations.
- Knowledge of TAPA, ADISA and Electronics industry security guidelines highly desired.
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced, detail and project oriented environment.
- Expert ability to demonstrate effective communication skills (oral and written) through listening, questioning and speaking.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products to include Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Provide senior management with ongoing monitoring, research, communication, and recommendations regarding direction for operational risk initiatives
- Undergraduate Degree in Related Field
- 5+ years hands-on experience in a corporate, public or military security role.
- ASIS International Certification as Certified Protection Profession (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) highly desired
