This is a business casual attire daylight position responsible for overall facility security on 3 shifts at
two nearby locations. This is an exempt position with excellent base salary, bonus plan and great benefit package. Security Manager has three direct reports and indirect vendor security personnel on three shifts at two locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Security Manger is responsible for providing overall services ensure the protection of property, assets, and people. He/she will conduct site surveys and make recommendations to improve security measures with emphasis on incoming and outgoing metal detection access control, alarm systems, IP security, logistics, policies and procedures and physical security to include guard force management. Responsibilities include training and day to day management of security personnel conforming to applicable federal, state or local regulations. This position requires 15-20% annual off site annual travel and overseeing 3 shifts at two locations as may be required.
COMPETENCIES/ABILITIES
High-school diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s or BS degree preferred
Must have a minimum of five (5) years security of security management/supervisory experience with the above job responsibilities preferably including site leadership in a manufacturing environment
