Job Description

                  This position is contingent upon contract award
SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Security Manager to support all aspects of personnel and information security including physical, personnel, information and technical security. Duties involve the management, supervision, or performance of work in developing, evaluating, maintaining and/or operating systems, policies, devices, procedures and methods used for safeguarding classified SCI information, property and materials.

Essential Job Duties:
• Assist in development of and implements policies and procedures for analyzing and evaluating the character, background and history of employees, candidates for employment, and other persons having or proposed to be granted access to classified or other sensitive information, materials or work sites
• Supervise the operation of the Special Security Office
• Administer the SCI security program including SCI security oversight • Maintain applicable SCI directives, regulations, manuals, and guidelines to adequately discharge SSO duties and responsibilities • Supervise the construction sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) to include accreditation, upgrades, and introduction of new equipment
• Pass SCI access certifications
• Conduct and manage SCI personnel, information, physical, and technical security (TEMPEST/TSCM) actions and procedures according to DoD regulations
• Provide guidance and assistance for processing e-QIP, SCI position, and eligibility requests
• Conduct SCI security briefings, indoctrinations and debriefings; obtains signed nondisclosure agreements; and performs other related personnel security actions
• Ensure that each subordinate SSO or SSR conducts self-inspections using an approved checklist • Investigate SCI security infractions, making recommendations and preparing required reports
• Maintain listings of available SCI electrical and hard-copy products, validate product requirements, and ensure dissemination to authorized users
• Interface with SCI telecommunications centers, ADP facilities, computer centers and similar offices to ensure SCI security
• Provide privacy communications support to General officers and to other senior officials, as requested
• Conduct continuing SCI security education training and awareness program to ensure that all SCI-indoctrinated individuals are kept apprised of the requirements and guidelines for protecting SCI
• Ensure that appropriate accreditation documentation is available for each SCIF and communications/automated information system under the organization's security cognizance
• Review all derogatory information from the local supporting military law-enforcement agency involving SCI-indoctrinated personnel and take appropriate action
• Maintain continuing relationships with non-SCI security officials • Produce, review, and manage emergency plans for the SCIF
• Constantly evaluate SCI risk and recommend appropriate countermeasures
• Create standard operating procedures for operations involving the use or transport of classified and SCI material • Investigate or assist in the investigation of security violations and practices dangerous to Security (PDS) and advise management on such investigations IAW DoD 5105.21-M-1
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor Minimum Requirements
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• Bachelor's degree and five years experience in the intelligence or DOD Security field OR
• Ten years experience in the DOD security field
• Must demonstrate extensive knowledge of SCIF, DOD, and DA Security Policies and Procedures
• Must have three years of prior Security Manager experience
• Knowledge of JDISS, JWICS, DMS and AMHS automation systems, and SIPR classified network
• Working knowledge of Executive Order 12563
• Familiarity with national, DIA and Army SCI security regulatory requirements Additional Information
