Job Introduction:
The world’s leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for a Site Manager.   The Site Manager is responsible for administering the security contract and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.  This position will act as the G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. liaison with client, law enforcement agencies, customers, and employees.  This position is also responsible for providing management oversight and driving operational accountability through effective change management and leadership development processes.  This position is the primary point of contact for human relations functions involving company employees.

Role Responsibility:
  • Must be able to perform all duties and responsibilities of Officer level I through III
  • Train on all systems at facility for which he or she is responsible
  • Allocate all work assignments among subordinates effectively
  • Enforce all safety and security policies and regulations, including emergency incident management
  • Assemble and issue reports and summaries as required or requested
  • Certify that facility security and energy savings processes have been completed as required (e.g., lock or unlock doors as required, lights turned on or off as required, etc.)
  • Ensure security personnel training is conducted as required
  • Maintain records and files as required by client policies
  • Report any and all building/premises problems to G4S and client management as required
  • Report all security incidents as defined by client and G4S policies and procedures
  • Spot check and audit assigned facilities, at least quarterly, to ensure all personnel are meeting client requirements
  • Provide support for any projects involving security operations and administrative functions; take immediate corrective and remediation actions when performance does not meet standards
  • Control consistency of procedures and required compliance regulations
  • Update site-specific orders as required
  • Service as on-site security representative for the facility
  • Develop and train subordinate supervisors; conduct performance appraisals and implement action for promotion, transfer, and termination
  • Analyze operational/system requirements and prepare detailed written reports and recommendations concerning adjustments in both operational and administrative procedures
  • Ensure the proper and timely handling of all incidents regarding all aspects of security for the facility

The Ideal Candidate:
Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required
  • Must possess a minimum of three years of verifiable and successful security experience in a corporate and/or financial institution environment
  • Must possess a minimum of two years of supervisory or management experience in a corporate and/or financial institution environment

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Environment:  Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat
