Role Summary
The primary role of the LERT Team Lead is to oversee and lead the project for success locally. The team lead will coordinate, help develop strategies, and provide solutions for escalations from their analysts in order insure deliverables, services, and SLAs are met. The role will also require the Team Lead to build on client relationships, sync with their Operations Manager with status reports, be involved with the recruitment process, assist with escalations and mentor and coach their analysts.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret day-to-day business objectives and prepare/execute operational practices/work programs. Ensure proper execution of processes by team
May make decisions about the day-to-day operation of the group, including management of work assignments and information between shifts as well as approach regarding workload, equipment, staffing, and scheduling. Includes adjusting work hours as necessary to meet deadlines, e.g., overtime, evening and weekend hours
Manage workloads to ensure even distribution of responsibilities and provide development opportunities
Lead and oversee all functions for local team.
Prepare and analyze complex reports/information and formulate conclusions
Ensure that all of the client responsibilities occur in accordance with the statement of work and service level agreement with client(s)
Act as a point of contact for senior client representatives
Identify, document, and review opportunities for team improvement in procedures/processes/standards to gain cost-effectiveness and efficiency; execute implementation of improvements
Meet with project managers on large or complex projects to determine format, plan the project timeframe and estimate the project's overtime needs
Plan and facilitate weekly (as required) team calls/meetings. May present and facilitate at group meetings and new hire integrations; may develop presentation content
May prepare, coordinate and conduct performance appraisals, and counsel employees on career and performance/disciplinary issues
Build out strategies for processes and solutions for new tasks.
Update Accenture and client leadership with general status reports.
Interface with multiple functional areas to investigate cases and acquire information
Review policies and procedures, regulatory compliance training for compliance with applicable laws and regulations including Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), suspicious activity reporting (SAR) and know your customer (KYC) regulations
Interpret evidence from multiple tools and systems to determine legitimacy of customer behavior across multiple products
Maintain records, prepare filings and prepare reporting information and metrics to be presented to management
Work with the team on grey area cases and develop best review practices
Manage the recruitment process
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
A minimum of 5 years in law enforcement, security or other legal background
A minimum of 2 years in operations and team management experience
