Job Description
Escort uncleared visitors, contractors and vendors within the JIATF South facility IAW all applicable local and national security directives.
Ensure all escorted personnel are properly checked into the command and have been issued the appropriate level security badge prior to entering controlled or restricted areas.
Ensure uncleared visitors are announced prior to entry into classified/restricted areas.
Ensure uncleared visitors are not exposed to classified information.
Ensure uncleared visitors are continuously escorted for duration of visit and ensure all JIATF property to include security badge, badge clips and lanyards are returned prior to visitors departure.
Screen visitors, contractors and employees at Entry Control Points within the JIATF South facility IAW all applicable DOD and Federal regulations/directives.
Screen visitors, contractors and employees and their vehicles when directed for contraband, explosives, firearms, weapons, classified materials, and prohibited electronic media/devices.
He/She shall become familiar with and utilize government furnished X-Ray machines, magnetometers, and hand searches to screen personnel.Required Experience
Must be a high school graduate
Must be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance
Must possess a valid Driver's License
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this position requires U.S. Citizenship status.
