We are currently seeking a talented Corporate Security Investigations Manager for our San Antonio, TXfacility.
Purpose of the Job:
Directly manages corporate security investigations staff and resources. Ensures the appropriate tools, training, and resources are available to support the unit's mission and objectives.
Job Duties:
Manages the operations of the investigative staff to ensure financial and productivity goals are achieved and unit objectives are met. Fosters a constructive and positive work environment with subordinates, peers and management.
Responsible for the supervision of the regulatory functions associated with the investigative processes, including reporting and oversight functions. Represents the unit on various committees, projects, meetings and initiatives.
Responsible for hiring, employee development, performance evaluation, and all management functions. Provides coaching and training to investigators to support individual and unit goals. Conducts team meetings and models strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills to employees.
Ensures unit is focused on customer support and the mission of the organization. Continuously seeks opportunities to improve service to members, internal customers and business partners internal and external to USAA.
Prepares reports, presents case updates, conducts presentations, and makes recommendations for process improvements.
Stays abreast of current events, changes in applicable laws, regulations, and news events that may affect USAA.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (6 years).
6 years experience with fraud and/or money laundering investigations in a corporate environment and/or federal, state, local or military law enforcement organizations.
Knowledge and experience in Work Place Violence and Threat Investigations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred:
Extensive Leadership of Investigative Teams
Experience in Working in Collaborative Environment
Experience in Executive and Personal Protection
Demonstrated Problem Solving and Judgment Skills
Demonstrated Threat/Risk Assessment Skills
***Selected candidates will attend and complete the Management Development School program in San Antonio, TX, during their first six months in position.***
