Security Inspector , New York [United Nastions]

Org. Setting and Reporting:
Under the overall command of the Chief of Service, the Security Inspector is required to perform armed security functions and reports directly to the Assistant Chief or supervising officer. All duties are performed in uniform however at times the Inspector may be required to perform duties in civilian clothes.
 
Responsibilities:
(1) Consults with and advises the Assistant Chief of Operations on all matters and activities of concern planned or taking place within the UN complex, especially in relations to security arrangements and operations; (2) Advises and makes recommendations in the formulation of goals and objectives of the Service; (3) Ensures that the established goals and objectives are accomplished in accordance with prescribed priorities, time limitations and financial conditions; (4) Manages all responsibilities in assigned area.
