Specific Job Description The primary responsibility of this position is employee and visitor control in accordance with the NISPOM (National Industrial Security Operating Manual) at the MS2 facility in Palm Beach FL. Duties of this position include carrying firearms to fulfill the MS2 arming requirements for the Palm Beach facility. Selected candidate will be required to successfully complete the Minnesota Multi-Phase Personality Inventory (MMPI) Test prior to placement. Must hold a valid Florida Class D Security license and a valid Class G Statewide Firearms license. The purpose of this function is to impede criminal activity and ensure the safety of the facility, its employees and assets. This individual will be accountable for checking badges of employees and Resident Visitors, and verifying authorization of visitors to enter the facility. He/she will also ensure that all visitors complete appropriate forms required for access, notify points-of-contact of visitor arrivals, issue proper badges to visitors, inspect visitors' hand-carried items for classified material, company property, or prohibited items, verify authorization of persons to carry property in or out of the facility, and answer phone calls in a courteous and professional manner. Responsibilities may include some or all of the following: performing patrols of MS2 facilities, alarm and CCTV monitoring, dispatching response teams for rapid alarm response, emergency response, violation and hazard detection, parking enforcement, classified materials destruction transportation, contacting/coordinating with local police, fire, and ambulatory services as required, and associate post relief.
