Forwood Manor, a Five Star Senior Living Community located in North Wilmington, is currently accepting applications for Full and Part time Security Guards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Patrols hallways, building and parking lot to ensure it is well lit and resident vehicles are locked. Determines that no unauthorized vehicles are present. Ensures that all doors are secured and locked in the evening. Responds personally to location to satisfy needs of the residents and personnel. Adheres to established safety procedures. Maintains confidentiality of resident and community information. In the event of emergency, assists local emergency personnel within the facility as needed. Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment and enforcement procedures. Performs duties in a professional, courteous manner and appearance. Prepares and submits investigations, reports and other related documents. Must enjoy working with the elderly. May be required to assist with resident emergencies (i.e. calling 911, directing ambulances drivers to emergency location etc.).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to move around the community easily, climb stairs, lift, feel, carry, see and hear. May be required to drive. The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions. Basic maintenance / janitorial experiance required.
