Job Description
The Identity Management Security Administrator will be part of the Identity Management Services (IMS) team involved in the validation and administration of multiple system access requests for a federal agency department. The Identity Management team supports a specific domain within the broader framework of Security. This person will be expected to successfully interact with internal and external customers in order to manage and support access requests for multiple identity management product(s). Responsibilities * Update and document process for management of users, adding, deleting and updating based on customer requirements within the identity management product(s).* Perform auditing and provide reporting to security team to meet customer requirements.* Enforce security policies or guidelines in accordance with Federal Government Security Standards.* Validate access request forms for proper authorization.* Create new accounts as needed within the IT systems.* Maintain accounts as needed within the IT systems.* Review system and account reports to identify and report on possible violations of security.* Counsel users in regards to security violations related to identity and access management.* Work assigned help desk tickets related to Identity and Access Management.* Confers with management, programmers, security staff, auditors, and other personnel to identify and plan for security for data, software applications, hardware, telecommunications, and computer installations. Education and/or Experience Associate Degree preferred in Computer Systems or System Security or 2 years IT/Security experience. Experience with UNIX, Active Directory, and Oracle databases. Experience with LDAP, identity management products, role based security, and security policies and procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
