The Global Security & Retail Loss Operations Manager provides leadership and direction for the company’s safety and security programs within their assigned area of responsibility. They deliver world class services in the areas of Unauthorized Trade, Business Continuity Planning, Retail Loss Prevention, Employee and Asset Protection. Safeguard tangible and intangible assets by establishing measures to protect and reduce risk to physical, informational, financial and intellectual property assets. Optimize profitability by reducing merchandise inventory shrinkage and minimizing financial risk. Responsible for ensuing losses of company assets are prevented, investigated and resolved.
Basic Responsibilities:
Identify goals and objectives consistent with corporate strategic plan and define metrics to measure overall performance
Implement security and crisis management programs to support the safety and well-being of employees and physical assets
Collaborate with business partners to create and execute effective loss prevention program for retail stores
Reduce financial impact of grey market goods on key markets through strategic investigations and solutions
Provide investigative intelligence and resources to support anti-counterfeiting efforts
Assist assessment of third party relationships and activities to protect people, assets and reputation
Maintain relationships with law enforcement and related governmental agencies worldwide
Manage Security Department’s annual financial plan and budget
Skills & Qualifications:
Executive presence with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, effective at building trust
Demonstrated success advocating new and creative ideas, methods and approaches, and integrating best practices
Solid project management skills with ability to achieve results in a matrix-managed organization
Demonstrated experience with budget planning and management
Willingness to travel globally as needed
A Bachelor’s degree is required and advanced degrees in law or business preferred
