Description
The Defense Intelligence Agency provides strategic and tactical intelligence support to the Department of Defense. DIA personnel must maintain security clearances and are subject to periodic polygraph and background investigations. FedSys is currently seeking personnel to support the mission of DIA.
This position does not provide relocation accommodations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise a cadre of Background Investigators, monitor and take any preventive or corrective measures necessary to maintain the productivity and quality of work of each Background Investigator and assigned Schedulers to insure the overall performance of the contract is kept at a high standard of delivering professional results correctly, on time and ahead of schedule.
Ensure all Background Investigators and assigned schedulers attend any training of other continuing education requirements and report results of completion and any failures to the COR.
Maintain a high level of Professionalism while performing work on the contract.
Prompt and regular attendance.
Other duties as assigned by senior FedSys management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Shall possess strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor that will allow efficient and effective cooperation with colleagues, visitors, and officials throughout the Agency, other federal agencies, as well as members of the public and private sectors.
Participate in project planning and status meetings with the COR and other government and contract personnel.
Maintain the same qualifications and perform the same duties as a Background Investigator per the SOW when tasked by the Investigative Division to do so.
Interface
Attend CAP sponsored or directed meetings and debriefings as required.
Security Requirements
The selected individual must be able to successfully pass a background and drug screening as a condition of employment. The selected individual may/will be subject to a Government security background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements. The Lead Investigator shall already possess a current Top Secret clearance at the time of their nomination on the contract. Maintain eligibility at all times for SCI access and take a polygraph examination when and as directed by the Agency. Clearance level requirement may be subject to change at the government’s discretion. In this event, you will be required to obtain and maintain the required clearance for the duration of your employment. Incumbent may be selected at a higher or lower clearance level as specified by any change made by the Government.

Educational / Work Experience
Shall have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree
Shall have a minimum of four years of work experience with at least two years performed successfully in a management role; preferably within DoD, a CCMD or other IC agency.
Shall possess recent experience (gained within the last two years) of supervising and completing multiple projects and within deadlines.
