In anticipation of a contract award, MVM, Inc. is building a pool of qualified Riverine Trainers available on an as-needed basis.

Please note this position will require extensive travel to areas in Central America and South America.

Riverine Trainers will provide training and specialty skills instruction to a variety of foreign military and law enforcement personnel in the areas of propulsion and maintenance; Riverine tactics and operations.

Qualifications and Requirements
Must be a United States Citizen.
Minimum of 10 years of U.S. military operations and training experience in a Combat Arms, Combat Service, or Combat Service Support specialty appropriate for the skills being taught.
Minimum of 4 years documented tactical experience in a Riverine or Maritime environment.
Proficient in the operation, maintenance, and employment of the Riverine Patrol Boat and Riverine Assault Boat.
Graduated from one of the following courses of instruction:
USN Riverine Combat Skills Course (RCS)
SWCC Crewman Qualification Course
U.S. Naval SEAL BUD/S and SEAL SQT
Knowledge of employment of tactics in the riverine environment as well as experience teaching patrol tactics, formations, communications and tactical operations is desired.
Ability to travel rotations of 30-120 days for each training session REQUIRED;
Ability to effectively work in a cross cultural setting on a daily basis and be comfortable training and instructing with use of an interpreter;
Fluent in Spanish preferred;
Possess a current certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic First Aid as defined by the American Heart Association.
Experience operating in areas with limited life support and in hardship conditions is preferred.
Applicants selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements which includes a favorable credit check; no Felony Conviction or Multiple Misdemeanor Convictions, and no prior drug use;
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office.
