Tactics Training Technician position located on a government site in Fort Lee, VA.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to travel throughout Virginia unaccompanied.
Technicians must be physically capable of performing all job functions and requirements.
Work may be performed inside and outside in adverse weather conditions.
Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Must be proficient with MS office computer programs and ensure ability to access all required training tools.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Requires a minimum of 3 years experience in teaching/Training Support, reviewing course material, training aids, and manuals for military training programs.
Must have at least 12 years of prior military service as an Officer, Warrant Officer or senior NCO. Prefer deployment experience (operational or combat).
Must have a combat arms back ground in one of the following MOS, 11,12,13,18,19 Series.
Must complete, or test out of BOLD course requirements in the first 60 days.
Must meet training, technical and tactical certification of course content, and document experience level requirements of the courses they are contracted to deliver.
Must be knowledgeable of all applicable regulations & doctrines regarding military officer training.
Instructors must be able to work with minimum guidance.
Must be able to obtain a Military Driver's License, pass the Range Certification Course, the Combat Life Saver (CLS) Course and other certifications as required.
Must be able to obtain a CAC.
