Duties:
The incumbent will serve as a Close Quarters Combat Training Coordinator, responsible for preparing training sites, live-fire ranges, and other training facilities to support training programs and for overseeing training and conducting evaluations during formal institutional training, off-site sustainment training, major training events, and during national exercises.

•Delivering and recommending improvement of programs of instruction that enable Coast Guard AI forces to conduct successful AI/CT operations.
•Maintaining the inventory of required training aids in serviceable condition.
•Ensuring that all training is conducted according to established law, policy, regulation, and standards.
•Facilitating student practice sessions, acting as a role player and evaluating student performance and aptitude, and counseling and tutoring students who fail objectives.
•Coordinating work efforts with other CQC, TACLET, and MSST training staff to meet the training program goals and objectives.
Qualifications Required:
At the GS-12 level: Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level (in the Federal sector). Examples of specialized experience include: Delivering and recommending improvement of programs of instruction; maintaining the inventory of required training aids in serviceable condition; ensuring that training is conducted according to established law, policy, regulation, and standards; facilitating student practice sessions, acting as a role player and evaluating student performance and aptitude, and counseling and tutoring students who fail objectives; and coordinating work efforts with other training staff to meet the training program goals and objectives.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
