Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Bluelight, the Task Order Project Manager (TOPM) will be responsible for overall task order performance. primary duties will be to interface with Counter-IED Operations Integration Center (COIC) leadership and the Contracting Officer or Contracting Officer’s Representative (KO/COR) and serve as the contractor's single task order manager.

Roles and Responsibilities:
This position is a CONUS based position, but may involve some OCONUS travel to handle adminstrative tasks. The TOPM shall be responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards, individual personnel performance, assigning contractor schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor personnel and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
The successful candidate will have an active Project Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Program Management certification along with the experience and ability to serve as the Contractor’s task order manager and represent the Contractor in communications with the Government’s Contracting Officer and COR; effectively direct and manage contract functions involving multiple, complex and interrelated project tasks; formulate and review task plans and deliverable items, and execute tasks in accordance with approved plans. The successful candidate will have at least ten (10) years of relevant senior leadership/program management and operational experience with U.S. military or other Federal Government agencies, at the Brigade or equivalent level with at least seven (7) years in supervision and management of substantive projects involving operational and analytical support and integration into an operational environment. The successful candidate will also have possess a Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a related field.

Additonal Requirements:
The TOPM must possess a current Top Secret clearance with current Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) determination.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
Ten (10) years of relevant senior leadership/program management and operational experience in the U.S. Special Operations environment or supporting U.S. Special Operations military customers.

Location: Reston VA with ability to travel overseas occasionally.
