Minimum Requirements:
Associates Degree in Electronic Engineering discipline or equivalent with a combination of formal training and experience. Ten years of related EW engineering work experience. Experience may include formal or on-the-job (OJT) in the design, troubleshooting, reverse engineering, and modifications to instrumentation systems and equipment
Minimum Experience Requirements Five years’ directly applicable experience maintaining radar systems. Must be experienced and knowledgeable in the areas of project management, systems integration, configuration management, overhaul, and technical writing.Three years of supervisory and management experience Ø Five years’ technical experience with Tactical Training Range systems (or equivalent military systems) Ø Five years’ experience with increasing levels of responsibility in complex electronic systems Ø Five years’ experience in ESM/ECM and radar employment Ø Five years’ electronic maintenance experience in the following areas (as applicable): -Digital/analog signal processing -Synchro-servo circuits -Radar and radar theory -Electromechanical devices -Video signal processing and recording -Communications (multiplexer equipment) -Digital/analog computer systems -DC power supplies -Test equipment -Optical equipment -RF signal processing -Antenna systems -Low-voltage AC equipment -Primary and secondary power equipment -Auto-transfer (UPS) equipment -Portable AC generators -Three years’ experience in operating/ maintaining acquisition radars, target tracking, ground control, height-finding and radar control systems.

Possess a valid state Driver’s License. Ability to speak, read, and write English. Obtain and Maintain a Government Clearance. Minimum Position-Specific Training Required Ø -Formal classroom education equivalent to Navy “C” School or vocational school with formal training in the field of electronic equipment maintenance and equipment manufacturer training -Quality Awareness training Job Description: Supervises EW Systems operation and maintenance. Directs operation and maintenance in accordance with contract requirements. Directs the work of all contractor range personnel for assigned systems. Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve unusually complex problems that cannot be solved by subordinate personnel.
Establishes and implements technical and administrative controls for contractor range operation and maintenance of assigned systems in accordance with contact requirements. Responsible for quality of all assigned contractor range functions to include operations, maintenance, preventive maintenance corrosion control, safety, quality assurance, configuration management, resource allocation, and documentation. Complies with contract requirements and takes action when necessary to correct deficiencies.

Provides oversight of site security, facility services, major/emergency repairs, corrosion control, range scheduling, equipment status reporting, transportation, and supply to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Supports special tests, evaluations, equipment relocations, and new equipment installations as required. Coordinates integration efforts with associate contractors. Oversees organizational, intermediate, and depot-level maintenance on assigned equipment.
Represents contractor on contract matters relating to daily operations of the EW/IADS functions. Meets with the Government as requested. Supports Government-sponsored meetings, briefings, and reviews as required. Prepares or approves required reports to ensure compliance with all contract requirements.

Coordinates range scheduling with the Government representatives as required. Oversees scheduling of work assignment and workloads in accordance with operational tasking and maintenance requirements. Schedules personnel to ensure adequate coverage of all tasks using staggered schedules as necessary to minimize overtime.
Ensures employees conduct themselves in a proper and professional manner at all times and adhere to applicable Government regulations. Resolves personnel problems and situations within range activities Makes recommendations to improve or expand all facets of operations to include maintenance, overhaul, engineering, and logistics support. Ensures economy of operation by improvement of work methods and procedures.
