Job Description
The Security Programs Manager is responsible for corporate level programs and activities associated with physical and personal security, crisis management, Business Travel security, business continuity planning, expatriated employee security, liaison with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies and providing security support to international operations. Additionally this position will supervise the Chrysler Global Security Operations Center. Responsibilities include developing, reviewing and implementing security policies and procedures, preparing and conducting security briefings and travel advisory assessments, assisting with coordination and protection of corporate executive officers, managing a security database designed to track expatriated employees and family members during international assignment, continually monitoring international security conditions and provide assessments for those regions with corporate business interests. Responsible for the management of the Corporate Crisis Management Program. Inclusive is the responsibility for the periodic training and testing of the Corporate Crisis Team. Active participation in the Business Continuity Management Working Group. Provide guidance for planning, development and implementation of business continuity and sustainability plans. Serve on the Michigan’s Department of Homeland Security Critical Manufacturing Steering Committee representing Chrysler and the private sector. Assist in conducting corporate investigations. Liaison with Federal, State and local Law Enforcement Agencies and other governmental entities in support of Chrysler’s business and security objectives. Support on-going department programs, activities and tasks as required. Responsible for the management of the Chrysler Global Security Operations Center, to include management of security and safety programs such as CodeSpear, Weather Data, Business Contingency Planning, Crisis Management Warehouse, and SIRs.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience
Minimum 2 years liaison experience with law enforcement and government intelligence community
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years law enforcement, intelligence or military experience
Working knowledge of intelligence related databases
