Job Description
The Supervisor, International Security FLL primary function is to support the Security Manager – SJU in the fulfillment of all Corporate Security mission objectives within the Caribbean and Latin America and other locations as assigned. With the guidance from the Security Manager, the Security Supervisor will be responsible for addressing all security related duties and issues pertaining to JetBlue’s International operations and provide assistance and support to JetBlue International Airport leadership. In addition to serving as a security resource for the Caribbean and Latin America, the Supervisor International Security will also be responsible for developing and maintaining effective liaison with all duly authorized law enforcement, intelligence and regulatory officials whose jurisdiction impacts upon aviation operations within JetBlue’s International cities
Essential Responsibilities
Supervises and carries out all security related functions
Maintains strong and effective working relationships with JetBlue’s Airports department leadership in FLL, the Caribbean and Latin America in support of the core business.
Acts as JetBlue’s security liaison with US and foreign officials in security matters that affect JetBlue operations.
Reports all facts and data relative to security issues and events internationally in a timely and accurate manner.
Implements and supports all Corporate Security Department initiatives including both TSA managed risk based security initiatives and JetBlue initiatives aimed at the improvement of security for our Crewmembers and Customers.
Responsible for helping to identify and assessing any security related vulnerabilities that may arise and thereafter, assist leadership with the development of security risk mitigation strategies.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
Five (5) years of previous security related work in the law enforcement, intelligence, regulatory or private/corporate security sector
Three (3) years in a leadership role ;
Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English and Spanish
Proficient in situational assessment and the detailed reporting of events under stressful circumstances
Able to travel and/or work variable hours, flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends
Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge
Possess and maintain a valid Driver License and a driving record that meets JetBlue Airways’ insurance standards
Acquire and maintain a United States Customs Clearance
Available for occasional overnight travel (excess 50%)
Knowledge of the structure, operations and functions of both US and foreign governments;
Ability to effectively interface with all JetBlue operational components and foreign government and private Business partners.
Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located:
Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four year university or college
Five (5) years’ experience in a supervisory role
Ten (10) years of experience in law enforcement or private security sector
Refined interpersonal skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and other IT business “suites”

Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
