Responsibilities include:
• Development, implementation and execution of the TSD Fleet Response Training Plan (FRTP).
•Develop, coordinate and submit TSD platoon basic phase training cycles to the N7 Department head for approval.
•Coordinate with external training venues for scheduling and execution of training to include EODTEU’s and FT Pickett.
•Perform simultaneous Project Management requirements for Department Head.
•Lead and facilitate department planning meetings, gather and publish minutes.
•Assist with logistical planning and movement of materials, equipment, and personnel in support of field training.
•Research, ID, and coordinate with new training venues as directed by N7 Department Head. Support DOD and OGA integration and capability development efforts as well as future mission training support.
•Attend and participate in exercise planning conferences and in-progress reviews.
•Provide assistance and technical advice to military personnel in the operation of exercise control cells.
• Develop and execute pre-exercise practical exercise scenarios and Master Scenario Event Listing (MESLs)
• Perform duties as Instructor/Controller
•Assist with the development and maintenance of the Navy Training Information Management System (NTIMS) and DOD Readiness Reporting system Navy (DRRS-N).
•Develop instructions, documents, AMD reviews, and manning studies as directed.
•Assist with implementation, management, and logistic support for the platoon TOA.
•Manage the command’s Platoon 5040 assessment program. Draft correspondence for N7 Department Head submission. Manage Department’s electronic historical folders in eKM.
Job Requirements
•Familiarity with managing and executing EOD Readiness and Training programs.
• Familiarity with planning and facilitating military exercises and Theater Security Engagements.
•Familiarity managing and navigating NTIMS and DRRS-N programs.
•Current knowledge of global IED device and TTP threat.
• Familiarity with Asymmetric Threat and Tactical Analysis Case Book (ATTAC), WTI Exploitation and Analysis Tool (WEAT), WTI Lexicon, SIPRNET and Community of Interest databases and portals.
• Graduate of the Naval EOD School.
•Minimum qualification as a Master EOD Technician with 10-15 years of operational experience.
•Experience as an EOD Readiness and Training Officer/Leading Chief Petty Officer or Master Training Specialist with the EOD community.
•Experience serving as a Future Ops Planner and executing exercise planning cycles.
• Experience working with CEXC, C-IED Teams, TEDAC, NGIC
•Current DOD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance Master EOD Technician
