AVENGE, INC. is seeking two full-time, experienced Aerial Sensor Operator Instructors for our Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance and Surveillance System (EMARSS) Integrated Process Team. This is a key position responsible for the New Equipment Training (NET) for the US Army next generation Fixed Wing C4ISR Platform.
• Current MARSS/Guardrail/ARMS or similar experienced Operator/Instructor
• Former DoD qualified Aerial GEOINT Payload Operator Instructor
• Former DoD experience – TF ODIN I or A experience desired
• King Air 200/300/350 ER experienced is desired
Primary work location is TBD; This is a full time salaried position with travel of up to 50% for program execution both CONUS and OCONUS.
Initially the program will focus on:
• Program of Instruction (POI) Development IAW TRADOC/DoD and ASAT Courseware
• Technical manuals and Aircrew Training Manual (ATM) Development
Once the POIs are approved and the training is ready the emphasis will shift to:
• Conducting Individual Key Personnel Training (IKPT) for approx 70 Days at Ft. Hood TX
• Conducting New Equipment Training (NET) for the US Army – Ft. Huachuca, Sierra Vista, AZ for approx 70 Days
The Aerial Sensor Operator Instructor will report directly to the Senior Aerial Sensor Operator Instructor. In addition, you will work collaboratively with the Pilots, Sensor Equipment Maintenance Instructors, Communications Trainer and all related sub contractors. You will be directly responsible for the successful development, implementation and execution of the EMARSS training documents and plans of instruction for airborne sensor equipment operations
Experience Requirements and Responsibilities:
Subject matter expert in all components and phases of conducting various types of Tactical Aerial Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Operations missions including but is not limited to route surveillance, convoy escort, counter-IED operations, vehicle interdiction, and direct action support missions. Responsible for generating and/or revising course material, including programs of instruction, student hand-outs, technical manual development, and checklists. Conduct instruction both in a classroom and on an aircraft. Must be proficient and experienced in the following:
Education and Training Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must possess TOP SECRET or higher security clearance and maintain a current FAA Class III flight physical and altitude chamber. Prior military aviation experience and in-theater military A-ISR experience preferred. Basic electronics, computer networking, and radio communications experience preferred.
Individual Readiness and Deployment Operation (IRDO) Requirement
In order to perform work related duties outside of the United States, the program/contract may require you to attend IRDO for a series of training events and medical reviews. Continuing employment will be contingent in part upon the ability to complete the related training events and medical reviews/requirements of IRDO and receive IRDO approval to rotate into our OCONUS area of operation which could include areas within a war zone.
