The company has an immediate opening for full-time Security Manager in Uniontown, PA (Lemont Furnace).
Overview:
Advanced Acoustic Concepts, LLC is seeking a Manager I Security to support our Lemont Furnace, PA location. The ideal candidate will plan and establish security procedures to comply with Federal regulations for handling Department of Defense (DoD) classified information and material. Performs security functions required by the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM) and company policies. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for all industrial security concerns, and will ensure security is perceived as a critical process within the Company.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support company-wide classified security programs.
- Provide day-to-day administration and oversight of classified activities to ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and with the NISPOM.
- Implement, manage, and ensure compliance with government and company security policies, procedures, and directives. Assist in the development of implementation of compliance standards.
- Primary advisor to Site VP/Leader on all physical and security matters and liaison to local DSS on all matters pertaining to safeguarding and handling controlled unclassified information (CUI). Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to site leadership and outside agencies on all physical matters; partner with appropriate site function representatives.
- Maintains proficiency in all physical and Foreign Ownership Control Influence (FOCI) security policies and practices to include AAC’s Security Control Agreement (SCA)
- Work all facets of the personnel security clearance process to include, initial request, fingerprints, indoctrination, reinvestigation, etc.
- Develop and administer a security education, training, and awareness program for both cleared and non-cleared personnel
- Manage all aspects of the NISP and other security activities with the facility, including document control, personnel security, and interpretation/distribution of DD Form 254 for classified contracting
- Conduct security awareness briefings and debriefings, including counterintelligence, pre/post travel, and suspicious contact reports to site personnel. Provide initial security briefing to new employees, and debriefings to departing employees
- Write and administer necessary standard operating procedures and plans in accordance with NISPOM
- Investigate and report all security violations as prescribed in the NISPOM or other compliance requirements; make recommendations to Human Resources and supervisory personnel on disciplinary actions, and provide reports of investigation to group and corporate leadership.
- Conduct periodic self-inspections as directed by the NISPOM and other required compliance standards. Accurately and timely report security posture to leadership.
- Implement all Corporate and Group Security direction, policy and procedures throughout the facility in support of SCA
- Perform access verification of all visitors to ensure current occupants are cognizant of each visitor’s access prior to allowing entrance into controlled areas in accordance with established local procedures
- Oversees badging of employees, visitors, consultants and government representatives to ensure compliance
- Possess and maintain proficiency in JPAS, e-Qip e-FCL, ISFD and Share Point to include maintaining all e-FCL accounts to ensure they are kept up to date
- May manage/supervise personnel
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business training with 5+ years related work experience
- Security Clearance Required: Secret
- Knowledge of NISP and the NISPOM
- Proficiency in JPAS, e-Qip, e-FCL, SharePoint and ISFD
- Familiarity with Cybersecurity, Insider Threats and Export Compliance
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations and training
- Proven ability to exercise tact and discretion in handling sensitive information
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Familiar with FOCI mitigation processes and procedures, with emphasis on SCA requirement
- Certification as an Industrial Security Professional (ISP)
- Experience as ISSO/ISSM in a DoD Contractor environment
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong project-management skills
Physical Requirements:
Lifting up to 20 lbs, walking, climbing, bending, sitting, standing, and stooping.
AAC operates on a 9/80 compressed work schedule with core works of 80 hours in 9 days and every other Friday off.
