Duties:
Assistant Collection and Requirements Manager focusing on all issues pertaining to collection and production management, including doctrine, policy, procedures, oversight, tactical, theater and national-level coordination, and other issues. Employee acts as the collection management project officer for routine, special access program, and compartmented projects, operations, and exercises. Develops, plans, supports, and provides guidance, assistance and oversight on all collection and production management functions, projects, and activities. Serves during exercises and operations, as the Production Manager responsible for processing, validating, managing, forwarding, reconciling, and disseminating production requirements and responses; and as Collection Manager, performing all aspects of collection management during routine, contingency, special access program, and compartmented projects, operations, and exercises. Develops collection plans, establishes priorities for collection, and routinely assists the Chief, Collection and Requirements Branch, in managing the day-to-day activities of the command collection management activities. Develops collection plans which incorporate tactical, theater, and national collection systems for direct application in support of special operations combat missions. Schedules and monitors these collection activities to ensure successful execution.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience in a wide range of concepts, principles, and practices as they relate to intelligence collection, collection management and requirements management. Demonstrated experience managing collection requirements. Extensive expertise in developing collection plans and strategies in support of complex strategic, operational, and tactical requirements.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG-12).
Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency (knowledge, skills, abilities) in the following areas:

This is an emergency essential position that ensures the success of combat operations or supports essential combat systems after a mobilization, evacuation order, or other military crisis. Incumbent may be required to deploy, on very short notice, to potentially high-threat, hostile OCONUS environments and to undergo specific training and immunization requirements as appropriate for OCONUS deployments. Anthrax vaccination will be required. Incumbent may be required to perform duties under austere and potentially hazardous conditions during exercise and real-world crisis deployments.
Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a single-scope background investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI) and selected Special Access Programs.
In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, incumbent must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
Subject to short notice recall. Must reside within normal commuting distance of Fort Bragg (50 miles).
Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete counter-intelligence scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
This is an Inclement Weather Essential position.
May be required to apply for Staff-Like-Access (SLA) in order to perform temporary duty with Other Government Agencies.
Position also requires travel up to 30% of duty hours in CONUS and OCONUS, as well as frequently extended duty with long hours under high pressure and generally high-risk job responsibilities.
(Requires no reserve affiliation, must be removed from Ready Reserves
