Position Summary:
Provide a safe and secure working environment for EY people during travel and at meetings and events outside of EY space. Coordinates with Global Travel Services and aircraft management company to manage all all security aspects of the Corporate Aircraft as part of the Executive Protection afforded the EY Chairman and other executives.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Monitors travel of EY people through on-line tools, such as the ISOS Travel Locator Service. Provides emergency alert information to EY travelers/expats when crisis events dictate intended to alert them to potential security risks in their vicinity. Provides information to leadership concerning EY travelers during natural disasters, terrorism and/or transportation disasters and options for mitigation or remediation of risk, as appropriate.
Continually reviews security situations throughout the world analyzing potential impact on EY and providing and justifying assessment of risk ratings for countries and assesses travel risks for engagement teams traveling to high risk countries (restricted destinations). Identifies best personal security detail provider (among those with which EY has master services agreements) and negotiates cost and supervises contract personal protection teams for engagement groups traveling to high risk countries where personal security detail support is prescribed.
Coordinates with Meeting and Events to provide security advice for events held outside EY office space.
Manages security for EY events held off-site. Assists with creation of policies and procedures guiding Meeting and Events Services representatives including security preparations and emerging issues, as well as affording on-site support personally and/or through approved EY security contractors when meeting size and significance warrant.
Monitors EY Chairman’s travel and other executives’ travel as requested providing insight into security issues and coordinating with Global Travel Services and Executive Jet Management (EY Aircraft FAA Part 135 Charter Agent and aircraft manager).
Liaison with existing travel security intelligence vendors, such as International SOS and Control Risk Group , to identify new data base sources of information concerning security issues worldwide and applicability to Global Security programs.
Coordinates and supervises the Travel Locator Service globally interacting with Area Security
Representatives and Managing Partners to bring areas into compliance with the program. Solves problems by interacting with focus groups in respective sub-areas.
Coordinates and manages all activity surrounding the functioning and safety of the Corporate Aircraft. Interacts with EJM and the pilots and maintenance technicians as needed in providing up to date service of security components of the aircraft and ensure all FAA guidelines are being met. Interacts with EJM and the pilots and crew to ensure the safety and security of the aircraft while traveling.
Serves as the primary point-of-contact with International SOS when their 24/7 call center is contacted by an EY person experiencing security or medical challenges while traveling internationally (outside of home country of assignment). Facilitates delivery of emergency support in coordination with ISOS and others as needed.
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
The main issues will deal with cultural and country differences in the manner in which the Travel Locator Service is deployed globally. These issues will cover traditional, cultural and legal issues within countries. This position will work with GS colleagues, EY General Counsel, partners and executive board members to resolve these differences in order to be able to provide destination assessment, mitigation applications, safety and security of all EY travelers. Close interaction with non-security oriented employees is common and necessary to implement security/travel programs in other nations.

Supervision Responsibilities:
This position is expected to work independently with routine meetings with Global Security management. This position has the responsibility of coordinating with ESS, ARES, GCO, partners and engagement team leaders in performing the above job functions.
Other Requirements:
Willing to travel 20-30% of time, including foreign travel

Experience:
Approximately 8-10 years of relevant experience
Certification Requirements:
Certified Protection Professional (CPP) is recommended but not required
