Location:Kuwait
Primary Function:
Directly supervises Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) and Theater Storage Area (TSA) munitions inventory, receipt, issue, turn-in, maintenance/reclamation, and shipping operations. Actively support and uphold the Company’s stated mission and values.
Essential Functions:
Develops and updates the ASP/TSA operational internal and external SOPs
Performs appropriate key control and crime prevention procedures to reduce/eliminate potential for theft or loss of ammunition and explosives
Maintains ASP fire plan and trains personnel in its use
Collects operational data and provides reports as required by senior management personnel or the Government
Interfaces on a daily basis with the Government Quality Assurance Specialist Ammunition Surveillance (QASAS) inspectors and providing support and taking appropriate corrective action as required
Ensure efficient and effective use of Standard Army Ammunition System-Modernization (SAAS-MOD) computer system to maintain accountability of munitions, munitions residue and packaging material
Implements process improvements approved through the Quality Management Program
Ensures all activities are performed in accordance with the performance work statement (PWS), all applicable laws (US and Kuwait), regulations, standards and codes imposed by the U.S. Government
Job Requirements:
Minimum of eight (8) years supervisory experience in logistics operations
Must have supervised a minimum of 10 personnel
Minimum of six (6) years’ experience in ammunition operations
Within the past five (5) years he/she must have worked at an ammunition supply point for a minimum of one year
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English language.
Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation
Must be willing to travel OCONUS
Must be able to pass a physical approving candidate for overseas work
Must be able to meet the physical requirements dictated by project requirements
If former military, must have received an honorable discharge
Must possess valid passport
Must have experience in applicable safety standards
