Advantage SCI is currently seeking experienced Security Specialists to be considered for full-time employment upon contract award. These individuals will be responsible for providing Research, Development, and Acquisition Security Support to Operational / Deployed Sites for a government customer. They will assist in performing Security Planning and Analysis activities; assist BMDS programs in administering and executing customer Operations Security (OPSEC) and Test Security processes, and assist RDA Security in providing coordination and oversight of Security System Level (SSL) protection requirements supporting Systems Protection Division and operational / deployed sites.
Summary of Duties includes, but is not limited to:
• Assist in administering and executing customer OPSEC processes.
• Assist in development of program level Critical Information List (CIL), OPSEC assessments, and OPSEC awareness efforts.
• Assist in administering and executing customer Test Security processes.
• Participate in weekly Test Working Group meetings and biweekly Test Support IPRs, when requested.
• Attend meetings with customer and installation officials involving security requirements, processes, procedures and initiatives for BMDS SSL areas and facilities, and report meeting objectives, decisions and taskings to RDA Security Government lead.
• Support RDA Security in defining and clarifying USSTRATCOM SSL standards and requirements applicable to MDA SSL areas and facilities and access control requirements
• Assist with on-site planning and assessment of SSL protection of BMDS operational assets, including review, maintenance and updates to plans and designs for the assets.
Minimum Requirements:
• Top Secret/SCI Clearance required
• MA/MS in related field. An additional 5 years of experience with a BA/BS may be substituted for the MA/MS degree.
• 10 years of relevant security experience
• Must be capable of providing expertise in Emergency Management and Continuity of Operation Programs
• Able to apply analytical principles and practices, research and technical support in the development and production of security products and activities is required
• Must be capable of working either independently or concurrently in leading/supporting teams to directly solve complex problems is required.
• Must have demonstrated high-level proficiency in oral and written communications
• Must have excellent attention to detail
• Must be available for travel to other customer locations
• Must have a valid certification of completion in PII and Cyber Awareness Challenge from Information Assurance Support Environment (Only valid within 30 days of hire). To obtain the certification, visit http://iase.disa.mil/eta/ .
Working Conditions:
• Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and carry for short distances occasionally
• Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach on a daily basis
