Job Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include supporting the Special Missions Directorate at Lackland AFB, TX with intelligence tasking and operations management support.
Provide tasking and operations management for CONUS and OCONUS field sites.
Coordinate with AF and National-level organizations so as to task and manage field sites in response to validated mission requirements.
Gather data to support architecture efficiency and effectiveness trends analyses, in an effort to identify capability gaps. The identified gaps will be presented to senior leaders in order to assist in the programming and planning to rectify those shortfalls.
Work with software-based parsers which extract discrete data points from formatted reports, and populate separate historical data files.
Maintain and analyze historical operations trends data; build operations briefings to Division and Directorate senior leadership, with formatted historical data.
Must be able to work after-duty hours and on weekends, as duty responsibilities require.
Preferred requirements
Knowledge of Air Force organizations, intelligence community organizations, regulations, Intelligence Requirements Management, collection tasking and operations management, space and cyber operations. Familiarity with 25 AF policies and regulations a plus.
Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in information systems management or communication systems management.
Candidates with 6 years of technical experience in intelligence operations management, tasking management, or field site operations may be considered in lieu of degrees
Current TS/SCI adjudication is required.
US citizenship is required.
Frequently use and apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques in cyber and satellite communications, space system or systems engineering.
Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. Candidates should be capable of expressing themselves clearly both orally and in writing.
Interface daily with local customers, teammate contractors, and geographically separated organizations.
