Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape Instructors - #WG-10-0074
Program: Walsingham Group is seeking experienced professionals to support USAJFKSWCS and the SERE Level C
Course as Instructors.
Description:
Candidates must be graduates of a TRADOC approved Systems Approach to Training course (e.g. ITC).
Must demonstrate an understanding of training methodologies, to include evaluations, analysis, design, development and
implementation of individual and collective training plans, training scenarios, and POI's.
Knowledge in SERE subjects (e.g. Map reading, land navigation, survival methods/techniques, preparation of fish and
game, plant identification, escape and evasion, air/land/sea exfiltration, cross cultural communications, physical and
psychological aspects of captivity, clandestine communications, escape planning, resistance to exploitation, interrogation and
the U.S. Military Code of Conduct).
Some performance of the course is conducted in austere environments with 24-hr coverage of positions.
Travel as part of Mobile Training Teams may be required.
Instruction and support of the SERE Level "C" Program of Instruction.
Instruction and support of the PGD/HD Course, which includes all associated academics, practical exercises, academic
role play laboratory and Resistance Training Laboratory exercises.
Requirements:
Candidates must be a US citizen.
A valid state driver's license and appropriate insurance.
Fluency in MS-Office products.
Must be physically fit and able to lift/carry 45 pounds, walk up to six (6) miles per day with a rucksack over varying terrain in
both rural and urban environments and during inclement weather, and provide up to eight (8) consecutive hours of instruction
Must pass an initial psychological evaluation that is to be performed by the SERE clinical psychologist; Must past the
required physical examination. Due to the unique nature of the SERE Course these requirements are a condition of retention
on the program.
Instructors shall be ex-military (E-4) or higher.
Minimum of three (3) years of honorable service in the US military.
Must be a graduate of an approved DoD SERE Level "C" High Risk Course; and be a graduate or be willing to take the
PGD/HD Course.
A well qualified candidate shall have past experience as an instructor for a SERE Level "C" course.
Special Forces qualification with service time at SWCS is highly desired.
