Responsibilities & Duties:
Engility is seeking an experienced proposal writer to develop a winning proposal for managing curriculum development, training delivery and mentoring trainers in the fields of institutional and facilities security, transportation of cash and valuables and Methods of Instruction training for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Assist in the development of a proposal for a comprehensive training program centered on training Saudi facilities Security Guards and Team Leaders.
Analyze and understand of the RFP and the team’s capture strategy to allow for development of compliant, responsive proposal content that clearly articulates win strategy.
Work under the guidance and direction of the proposal manager, maintaining open and clear lines of communication.
Write technical and management sections based on provided background material, including corporate information and the solicitation.
Format and critically edit and review resumes to ensure compliance with solicitation requirements and proposal strategy.
Identifies potential graphics for sections written and work with the graphics team to turn them from concepts into proposal level graphics.
Perform various levels of editing, from simple proofreading to substantive editing and rewriting.
Support the development of company-wide consistency for proposals, templates, and other corporate documentation to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.
Other duties as required by management.
Minimum Tangible Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years experience as a trainer in facilities security training program with at least 5 years of those in a management position.
Multiple years of professional writing experience.
Capable of supporting multiple opportunities simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong time management skills, including working outside of normal business hours, and ability to meet deadlines.
Expert understanding of Microsoft Word; experience working other Microsoft Office suite programs.
Knowledge of internationally recognized security training standards.
Bachelors Degree in Security Administration, Criminal Justice, Education or related field.
Experience in providing support to security operations including:
Security and protection of strategic and non-strategic facilities.
Guarding against unauthorized access.
Protection of personnel against assault or injury and against outbreaks of disorder.
Protection of property against theft, destruction or damage.
Guarding cash or valuable in transit.
Preffered Qualifications:
Masters Degree in related field
Experience as a trainer in the Middle East
Experience as an instructor in a Train the Trainer Program.
APMP/Shipley training a plus.
