Global Security and Military Affairs (GSMA) protects the firm's employees and assets throughout the world. This responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, Security guard management and alarm response, crisis management, ATM, branch and corporate building security and customer safety, physical crime

investigations, workplace violence, fire and life safety, executive protection, due diligence, Pre-Employment screening, security operations on a global basis, fraud Investigations and cyber security.

This position is responsible for evaluating, recommending and ensuring the implementation of established security and life safety procedures at the Delaware Technology Center in Wilmington, DE. The Site Manager will oversee security officer’s program controlling access to the facility and will assist in providing protection of customers, employees, tenants, visitors and assets. The Site Manager will also act as the Global Security liaison with the various lines of business within the building. This position reports to the Regional Security Manager.

The Site Manager will work and liaison with all levels of employee, to include senior management. He/ She will be responsible for promoting the GSMA security program to senior management and ensuring compliance to key technical and procedural standards

Managerial Duties:
Oversees performance of contract security guard vendor.
Coordinates with the security guard vendor to ensure qualified candidates are placed on JPMC account.
Coordinates with security guard vendor to ensure appropriate coverage for JPMC properties.
Implements approved policy and procedural changes to post orders as required.
Maintains liaison with Facilities Management, fire and police officials, contractors and the various lines of business senior leaders.
Handles physical security projects as appropriate.


Reports:
Generates monthly metrics and status reports on program compliance.
Completes comprehensive internal review reports and building security surveys.
Generates tracking documents for new initiatives or enhancements that are implemented.

Other Services:
Perform special duties as directed by the Regional Security Manager.


Qualifications
Decision-Making Authority:
Recommends and drafts physical security procedures and directives.
Evaluates security guard vendor adherence to contract.
Ability to manage fire/life safety program.
Controls crisis situations.

Education:
Have at least a four -year bachelors degree OR have law enforcement or U.S. military background with honorable discharge OR a combination of both educational and relevant, job related work experience.
