Security Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Security Manager to lead the development, implementation and maintenance of security programs and contracted security personnel at our Fulfillment Center in Arlington, TX

About The Role
Under the direction of the General Manager, this role will be responsible for all security programs relative to the safety and security of Blue Apron employees, the Fulfillment Center environment, products and property contained therein. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Management and appropriate resolution of all security-related issues.
Assessment of potential security risks to the organization and subsequent implementation of programs to monitor events, identify trends or warning signals of a security threat.
Development and implementation of appropriate training for key personnel to ensure the fulfillment center is trained and equipped to respond to security threats against Blue Apron employees and property.
Management oversight of contracted security personnel engaged in performing uniformed security, reception and security system maintenance services.
Management oversight of all security systems including access control and closed circuit television (CCTV) systems.Investigate and monitor internal and external incidents and provide rapid response, investigation and reporting of all emergencies
Work closely with outside agencies (police, fire departments, fraud agencies, insurance companies, attorneys) as required
Partner with managers to influence and support overall positive working environment to include actions to secure a safe working environment

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree Required.
5+ years experience in a similar role (security, law enforcement, etc.)
Familiar with principles and practices of corporate security, employee safety, crisis management and emergency response in accordance with any applicable state and federal laws.
Adept at analyzing and troubleshooting problems, identifying solutions and projecting consequences of proposed actions.
The ability to maintain strict confidentiality, display a sense of urgency, organizational savvy and poise.
Knowledge of Investigation methodology, interviewing and interrogation methods.
Knowledge of security monitoring and/or alarm systems (fire, burglar) and CCTV camera and DVR equipment
Proven leadership abilities and ability to establish trustful relationships and commitments with coworkers across all levels of the organization
