Job Description 
This position is responsible for communicating and implementing strategic security programs, and administration of contract security services.

Reports to: Engineering Services Director

Supervises: No direct reports. Matrix to the JLL Security Relationship Manager for the Novartis account. Matrix management of site security captains via JLL Site Leads / Facility Managers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Security Management

Serve as the conduit to field operations for communication and enforcement of client corporate security standards and policies.
Review post orders and system maintenance procedures across the client facility portfolio.
Hold the position of key interface with Client’s Security Leadership individuals, being able to develop close relationships and integrations with client operations.
Act as liaison between Client Security leadership, JLL account team, and Security Guard provider. Oversee consistent security management key performance indicator reporting
Provide or source technical support for site security team leads and their security staffs.
Review security asset inventory. Recommend disposition and/or leasing recommendations. Establish maintenance and replacement plans.

Review supplier skills assessments of security personnel.
Review supplier training programs based on needs gathered through skills assessments and client requirements.
Assist Strategic Sourcing in bidding, negotiations and administration of regional or national contracts for security systems, products or services.
Establish self as the internal “go-to” for security captains needing technical support. Rely on Technical Services, outside contractors, consultants or internal networking for support.
Develop and administer a security operations audit program. Prepare JLL Site Leads / Facility Managers and Security captains for compliance, and tabulate results and recommendations resulting from inspections.
Conduct all activities with a focus on cost control / savings and service enhancement. Research and implement innovative cost reduction programs. Survey all security operations to recommend operational efficiencies resulting in cost savings or increased productivity.
Review security best practices and innovations for compliance with industry standards and developments, including emerging best practices, technology, and innovations.
Work with Novartis and Security supplier to support the development of security equipment and system capital improvement plans for client review and approval.
Attend client security QBR’s and annual review of security RACI chart to ensure alignment with client expectations and initiatives


Skills/Qualifications
Minimum 7-10 years of direct involvement with security operations and programs.
Must have high level of verbal, written and presentation skills.
Some experience in instruction or training.
Strong organizational skills and collaborative management style needed.
Military and/or Law Enforcement experience a strong plus.
