Job Description
General Summary Of Duties:

· Review all Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports. Prepare the documentation and distribution to proper department supervisors and/or department heads

Daily review of all statistical reports from all operational areas in order to identify problem areas.
Assist Director with department goals/objectives, evaluation of monthly performance, SOP’s, planning of Audits/Close Watches and special investigations.
Organize and maintain employee files.
Work with Shift Supervisor to schedule adequate number of staff to perform the responsibilities of the shift.
Conduct Employee evaluations and monthly one/one’s with goals and objectives.
Evaluate investigator performance in meeting goals and objectives.
Conduct and document progressive discipline as needed.
Organize, maintain and assist investigators in: training, case management, and maintaining department core skills.
Implement and maintain Succession Planning and Training.
Participate in Corporate Management Training program by attending supervisory training classes.
Conduct prospective personnel job interviewing.
Managers are required to maintain a consistent and continuous self-education program, in preparation to acquire job knowledge.
Assist Director with budget strategy, planning and preparation.
Assist with the maintenance, accountability and spending records for budget through the fiscal year for the department.
Thorough knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, compact, etc.), Gaming Minimum Internal Controls and attendant regulations as well as the company internal controls, policies and procedure.
Department liaison with outside department heads and executives.
Implementation of property specific goals, objectives and strategic plans.
Send daily and monthly reports of surveillance activities to the Director of significant surveillance activities, cost of sales numbers, and gaming statistical numbers.
Maintain, plan and purchase supplies needed for the specific property assigned.
Performs other related duties as assigned/required.

Job Requirements
Performance Requirements: (Knowledge, skills and abilities)

Handle surveillance room administrative facets.
Act as the Chief Surveillance auditor.
Liaison with security investigators to form a full circle resolution for all investigations.
Provide specialized game protection training to surveillance and gaming personnel.
Assist as a member of the title 31 solutions team.
Oversee the Shift Supervisors and assist the director with overall surveillance operations.
Assist in development and implement approved department policy & procedures, train, schedule, supervise and evaluate Team Member performance.
Specifically supervise and coordinate activities related to the surveillance of all gaming areas and back of the house.
Maintain a consistent training program on all Casino Table Games, Slots, Internal Theft, Fraud Awareness, Nevada Gaming Regulations, Minimum Internal Controls, Case File Management, Database Knowledge, Statistical Analysis, Surveillance Standard Operating Procedures and Supervisory Succession Training.
Skill in developing and maintaining guest relations.
Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management and Team Members.
Pleasant personality, team oriented and enjoys working with and assisting people.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Ability to alphabetize, read, write, speak and understands the English language to complete job assignments and comprehend/follow written and verbal instructions from all levels of management, staff and external contacts.


PHYSICAL, ENVIRONMENTAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Work is performed in an office environment and throughout the property in all locations. Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. A casino environment typically allows smoking.
Constant contact with executives, department management, applicants, Team Members and guests is necessary. Requires prolonged sitting or standing and mobility. Requires bending and reaching. Requires transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 50 lbs. Requires eye/hand coordination. Requires use of standard office equipment and specialized surveillance equipment. Requires basic math. Ability to push and/or pull file cabinet drawers weighing up to 5 lbs. Requires the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols. Ability to and comply with policies and procedures, job description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.

Preferred experience: (Knowledge, skills and abilities)
· Graduate of a recognized gaming school, college or the equivalent, in the following games: Baccarat, Blackjack, Craps and Roulette.
· Have taught or have training experience in gaming
· 3 Years of experience in surveillance required, supervisory experience preferred. Able to organize/prioritize work.
· Good mathematical skills necessary.
· Must have computer knowledge.
· Full knowledge of E-Connect, Itrak and Microsoft Office
· Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to obtain or have a Gaming card.
