Job Description
There are several potential job opening; (1) Armed Security Guards (2) Firearms Armorer (3) Site Supervisors and Shift Supervisors.

ARMED SECURITY GUARDS:

$17.95 per hour up to $20.36 per hour (depending on experience)

The role of contracted Armed Security Guards hired for this mission is to perform security-related duties at the Naval Weapons Station (NWS) Earle, New Jersey. Armed Security Guards will work alongside existing Government security forces that have law enforcement responsibilities.

Specific duties of Armed Security Guards include, but are not limited to:
Entry Control Point Services
Identification Checks
Vehicle Inspections
Emergency Closure Procedures
Roving Guard Services
Perimeter Patrol, Interior Patrol, Building Checks
Crowd Control
Security Screening
Traffic Control.


SHIFT SUPERVISORS: Very competitive salary with excellent benefits.
The Shift Supervisor shall be responsible to the Project Manager for the conduct, performance, appearance, training, and scheduling of all individuals employed and shall supervise all personnel required to perform Security Guard services during his/her duty shift.

Each Shift Supervisor shall have experience in security or law enforcement operations in the Armed Forces/military police or civilian security operations including some supervisory /leader experience. The Shift Supervisor shall coordinate with the Site Supervisor and Installation Security Officer, or his/her representative, for the operational functions and duties required for his/her shift.

Naval Weapons Station (NWS) Earle, New Jersey. (Under the control of the Department of the United States Navy)

Qualifications
US Citizens only. (Non-US citizens will not be considered)
Must be a high school graduate OR equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must pass a fingerprint-based background check, credit check and motor vehicle records check that reflects a clean driving record for the past 18 months.
Must pass medical evaluation, drug screen testing and physical fitness readiness assessment.
Must not have a history of domestic violence and be capable of possessing a firearm.
Armed Guard personnel must have successfully passed US Armed Forces Anti-terrorism Force Protection (ATFP) Level I training.
Armed Guard personnel must be firearms qualified, meaning, you must hold a state of New Jersey or local level firearms permit/license OR be able to pass firearms qualification testing. *Preference is given to individuals with a multi-state concealed carry permit, shotgun qualified, OC pepper spray and baton certification.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written.
Must be able to deal with stressful situations and maintain self-control at all times.
