UXO Technician 1

Job Description:

To provide support to new and existing work within the business line.

Responsibilities:  
- Responsible for identifying all types of military munitions, including possible fuses and their condition, armed and unarmed.
- Reconnoiter and classify UXO and Discarded Military Munitions (DMM).
- Excavate subsurface UXO and DMM and move and/or consolidate materials that have been determined safe to move by UXO supervisor.
- May be part of a UXO demolition and disposal team and assist in the inspection various explosive ordnance.
- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.


Qualifications: 
Must be a graduate of a formal UXO training course of instruction or EOD Assistant courses by a certified Department of Defense training facility. Must meet the UXO Technician 1 requirements as promulgated by DDESB TP-18. Must be familiar with and have ability to carry out all job performance requirements in accordance with operational procedures. Typically will have less than 3 years UXO related experience.

*This is a nationwide position, work location will be made at the time of hire and will be dependent on company needs.
