The Operational Security Specialist will work directly with the Military and Civilian personnel supporting a Government /contractor Test Team. Successfully performing the duties of a Security Specialist (or equivalent) for one or more Special Access Programs (SAPs). Support provided on a contract or within an organization that provides direct security support to a federal government agency within a classified work environment.The primary responsibility is to coordinate amongst the various stakeholders and ensure test objectives are defined, captured and documented, in the appropriate Security Test Plans. The Operational Security Specialist works under general supervision, providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity.
You will be required to utilize experience in:
Executive Order 13526, JAFAN Series, NISPOM, NISPOM Overprint, and other government directives (as required) into the day-to-day operations.
Classification Review and Marking procedures.
Test and Deployment Operations.

Job Requirements
Bachelor's with 4+ years of related experience, or 6+ years related experience in lieu of degree.
Exceptional written and communications skills with the ability to coordinate interactions with contractors, leadership and other DoD Components.
P-3/P-8 Interface knowledge and familiarization with complete understanding of systems operations
Basic safety of flight and communications procedures
Development of Security Test Plans (STP) for deployment operations
Understanding of Information Assurance (IA) Facility Security processes
