Description:
Assist the Program Manager (PM) in successfully executing the Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) Program Services Support Contract with special emphasis in transformation, improving course mechanics, technical performance, and administration. Serves as the Program SERE Training Subject Matter Expert and senior advisor. Provides daily oversight of contractor functions; assesses and on boards new employees; trains, coaches, leads, and disciplines subordinate managers and employees; and reviews and assesses program structure for effectiveness.
Organize, guide, and monitor key contract execution activities.
Establish technical performance standards and lead the staff self-assessment effort.
Provide direction and critical support to the Program Management Office
Provide primary interface between client and program to ensure contract meets performance requirements.
Provide primary interface between SERE Program and subcontractors.
Oversee material and administrative support to the contract staff including transportation, equipment, supplies, facilities, and budget.
Supervise the contract staff training.
Assist in preparation of reports and briefings on Program Status.
Perform duties of PM in his/her absence.
Primary duty is Fort Rucker, Alabama.
Perform other duties as assigned in general support of the SERE Program Service Support contract.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a SERE Instructor, Lead or Manager.
Strong leadership skills and previous experience leading organizations.
Possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills.
Graduate of DoD approved Level C SERE "High Risk" Course.
Possess or able to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
Be a U.S. citizen.
If former military, must possess an honorable discharge.
No adverse UCMJ actions.
Undergo and pass initial and periodic psychological evaluation performed by the SERE clinical psychologist and annual medical physical. Team acknowledges that our personnel may be subject to unscheduled psychological evaluations at the discretion of the Government.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Program Management or related business discipline.
Graduate of additional advanced SERE Training Courses.
Previous experience writing SERE Program bid proposals.
